Accelerate İzmir – International Growth-Focused Acceleration Program is specifically designed for companies ready to scale nationally and internationally. The program is led by Teknopark İzmir and developed in partnership with İzmir Development Agency.

The program is structured around three core pillars: internationalization, sales, and investment, aiming to strengthen companies’ capabilities in these critical areas.

As one of the few International Acceleration Programs in Türkiye, Accelerate İzmir provides technology companies with a holistic support system including training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to successfully enter and establish themselves in global markets.

Accelerate İzmir is designed as a two-stage program to ensure systematic and validated global expansion. The program is further supported by dedicated sales, investment, and pitching modules.

Stage 1: Accelerate İzmir – Global Readiness

An intensive 8-week preparation program designed to help startups:

  • Compare different countries and regions
  • Identify the most suitable target market
  • Develop a validated market entry strategy

Before conducting international field visits, companies focus on clarifying the triad of:

Stage 2: Accelerate İzmir Beyond Borders

This stage is designed for companies that have identified their target market and developed a market entry strategy in Stage 1.

It focuses on executing deep business development activities in the selected target market, including:

  • Concrete partnerships
  • Sales opportunities
  • Corporate customer engagements
  • Investor meetings

Optional Support Modules

Based on the program team’s evaluation and company needs, participants may also join additional modules:

Sales Development Module: Supports startups in building a structured sales funnel and preparing for market entry.

Investment Readiness Module: Prepares startups to approach investors at the right time with the right preparation.

Pitch Preparation Module: Supports startups in developing an investor-aligned pitch deck and one-pager, and delivering their presentations effectively.
